LDAP Settings

  1. Under the Tools menu, click Account Settings.
  2. The Account settings screen should be displayed as below. Click on Composition & Addressing, then click "Use different LDAP server", and then click Edit Directories.
  3. Click the Add button.
  4. The Directory Servers Properties.
    • Name: "ldap.eecs.berkeley.edu"
    • Hostname: "ldap.eecs.berkeley.edu"
    • Base DN: "O=eecs.berkeley.edu,dc=eecs,dc=berkeley,dc=edu"

     

    • Name: "ldap.berkeley.edu"
    • Hostname: "ldap.berkeley.edu"
    • Base DN: "ou=people,dc=berkeley,dc=edu"
  5. Now after you click OK in that box, the servers should show up in the LDAP Directory Servers. Click OK in the window.
  6. Select ldap.eecs.berkeley.edu under the dropdown menu and then click OK at the bottom of the box.
